Conditions - What Artists need to know before applying:
  • Artists are responsible for providing their display panels and/or tables for their art. The venues provide only the space for the artist(s).

  • Placement of artists (not using their studio):

    • Winery/Venue has the first pick of artist(s)

    • Winery/Venue may request a demo from the artists to select the desired artist and style. Please respect their choice. Venues carry substantial business risks and promises.

    • If the winery does not request a specific artist, the artist will be assigned at random based on the application date.

  • Artists may be offered, first come-first-served, a multi-venue location in case of cancellations or no-shows.

What each artist is required to do
  • Two weeks before the start of the show, the artist will go to the assigned venue to assess their set-up and the amount of art they will show.

    • Talk with the tasting room manager

    • The artist will ask for/and follow any suggestion/request for a location inside the venue.

    • Artist will ask when they can set up their displays before the event and remove them.

  • During the days and times of the show, the artist must be present at their assigned venue and may receive a request for confirmation for being on the spot from the show director or the deputy.

  • The artist understands that the winery is there to promote and sell wine.

  • The artist is there to show/explain/ educate the public about their art and art processes upon their request.

  • Art can be for sale. Unless otherwise stated, Artists take care of their transactions.

    • Use of Square or other online selling such as QR codes or Venmo is recommended.

    • Artists should show new work or work that has not been previously displayed.

Along with the application, the following is required for acceptance:
  • A picture of your art in jpeg format; please make sure your art is photographed straight and is no bigger than 2MB’ 1920 pixels on the longest side. Submit with application

  • A payment of

    • $25 for Artworks Northwest Members

    • $40 for non-members​

Fields with asterisks are required. If you fail to include them, the form may reset and  you will need to enter your information again.

You may enter up to four pieces of art. Submit one or more image per piece. The file name should be in the format: artist last name_number_title_price.jpg, e.g. sharp_1_teton fall_200.jpg (or jpeg).

Also, upload your brief biography (170 words or less) as a Word, RTF or text file.
